Stephen Flynn’s closing statement to the ITV Election Debate

Closing the ITV election debate, SNP Westminster Leader Stephen Flynn said:

“Let’s start with the good news – the Tories are finished.

“14 years of Cameron, Clegg, May, Johnson, Truss and Sunak – is coming to a close.

“So now our attention must turn to what comes next.

“And at a time when there should be hope and optimism, there is so little on display.

“Keir Starmer’s status quo offers us yet more cuts and yet more Brexit.

“Well in the SNP, we don’t accept that cosy Westminster consensus.

“We believe in better:

“Investment in our NHS

“Action on the Cost of Living

“Rejoining the European Single Market

“Economic growth by delivering Net Zero

“Scotland’s future in Scotland’s hands

“So on July 4th vote for that future

“Vote SNP to put Scotland’s interest first.”
