A leadership election is being held following First Minister Nicola Sturgeon’s announcement that she is standing down. We will have a new Party Leader on 27 March 2023.
The following candidates are nominated and will appear on the ballot paper. You can view their candidate profiles by clicking on the links below:
The ballot will open at 12h00 on 13 March.
The ballot will close at 12h00 on 27 March.
Members who are eligible to vote and have a registered email in the membership database will be sent an electronic ballot. Those without an email address will be sent a postal ballot.
A number of hustings events have been organised so that members had the opportunity to hear from the three candidates.
