Live here? Vote here.

The goal of this event is to inform Scotland’s residents born in other countries, and local, of their voting rights and why they should vote.

Our aim is to give Scotland’s residents, no matter their origin, the information they need to be able to vote with confidence in May and in the future. This event is open to everyone, even if it is more focused on foreign nationals.

Scotland’s biggest asset is their people. So, your vote is important and, after all, we are all Scots.

By attending this event you will learn who can vote and why that is so important, for the country you chose to call home.

Participants are invited to submit questions, in advance, by email to votingrights2021@gmail.com.

You are also welcomed to submit questions on the day. By submitting in advance, you will be helping facilitate a smoother event.

The event will be hosted by Councillor Kate Campbell (Cllr Kate Campbell) and the speaker will be Elena Whitham MSP.

The event is free and open to all, and you can register via the eventbrite page here.

Registration closes at 7am on Monday 14th February, and your Zoom link will be sent shortly afterwards.
