A shorter working week: learning from Iceland

Dundee SNP are very proud to present a panel discussion on Iceland’s experiment for the shorter working week, and the implications for Scotland as we consider a shorter working week also.

The panel discussion starts with by Guðmundur D. Haraldsson, the co-author of the report ‘Iceland’s Journey to the Shorter Working week’. He is joined by Shona Robison MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Social Justice, Housing & Local Government, and Kyle Lewis, researcher at Autonomy and author of the PCS Scotland’s report on a 4 day working week for public sector workers.

The panel brings a wide range of experise that will generate great debate and understanding of how fair work and a shorter working week can work for Scotand’s people and economy.
