Get Advice : Westminster

Members of the UK Parliament

For advice on reserved matters you should contact your MP. Reserved matters include issues relating to benefits and pensions, fishing and farming, immigration and visas, defence, foreign affairs, tourism, and the Treasury.

Example: I am worried about my Disability Living Allowance. I’ve heard the Government plan to reduce it, and I won’t be able to stay in my home without it. Your local MP can contact the relevant Government Minister and find out if there are plans to reduce the allowance. He/she can then make representations on your behalf to ensure you get all the help and support that you require to stay in your home.
