Biography:
Kevin is Aberdonian born and bred and has served as a local councillor for over eleven years.
He was, until his election, Depute Leader of Aberdeen City Council, and chaired the Finance and Resources Committee and NESTRANS, the Regional Transport Partnership.
His proudest achievement is having served as the chair of the 3Rs Board, which has delivered ten new schools for the city.
Kevin has a keen interest in the history of Aberdeen and at his instigation the city has its own statue of Robert the Bruce, to commemorate the granting of the Freedom Lands to Aberdeen, which led to the Common Good Fund.
