The Christina McKelvie Celebration Ball will honour the life and legacy of the late Christina McKelvie MSP, who passed away at the age of 57 in March 2025.
Christina was one of Scotland’s most passionate advocates for equality, diversity, and human rights as well as the SNP for Hamilton, Larkhall and Stonehouse and a former Scottish Government Minister. She was fun, full of joy and lively – this event will be just that! The evening event will bring together those who want to celebrate her life and the causes she dedicated herself to, whilst raising funds for two cancer charities that were close to Christina’s heart.
Acclaimed comedian, Susie McCabe, will host the event and beloved performer, Tom Urie, will DJ the evening. The night will also feature speeches from the First Minister, John Swinney, and former First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon.
