Motherwell and Wishaw Branch are delighted to invite you to the McIntyre Dinner, taking place on Friday 20th March 2026 at 6:30 PM at Wishaw Golf Course, to celebrate the 81st Anniversary of Dr Robert McIntyre’s election to Parliament.

Dr Robert McIntyre was a trailblazing Scottish politician and the first-ever Member of Parliament for the Scottish National Party, elected in Motherwell in 1945. His dedication to public service and commitment to Scotland’s political voice left a lasting legacy that continues to inspire.

First Minister John Swinney MSP and Cabinet Secretary Fiona Hyslop, will be speaking at this special occasion.

Tickets are priced at £20 for unwaged and £25 for waged, which includes a delicious 3-course meal.
