While the Queen’s Speech this week exposed a Tory government failing to get on with the day job, the SNP Scottish Government got on with the job of delivering for Scotland.

The number of young people getting qualifications at Higher level or above is increasing, with the number of young people from the poorest parts of Scotland leaving school with at least one Higher up.

Scotland’s food and drink sector continues to go from strength to strength. In the first three months of 2017, food and drink worth £1.2 billion was exported, up £124 million on 2016. That’s a 10 per cent increase.
