Alan Brown MP is looking to employ a Constituency Support Officer/Caseworker in his constituency office in Kilmarnock. This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic and capable individual to join the constituency team to support his work as the Member of Parliament for Kilmarnock and Loudoun.
The successful candidate must have excellent communication, administrative and organisational skills and be able to demonstrate previous experience of dealing with enquiries from members of the public and/or casework as well as the ability to work effectively with others.
An understanding of the political and parliamentary environment and experience in research and analysis and Excel reporting formats would also be desirable.
The role is full time (37.5 hrs)* and will be office hours Monday to Friday, but potentially some evening and weekend work.

Upon appointment you will be required to comply with the Baseline Personnel Security Standard, undertaken by the Members’ Staff Verification Office (MSVO). MPs generally pay staff in accordance with IPSA guidelines.
