National Theatre of the Scots Language

There should be a National Theatre of Scots to serve as a focal point for the revival of the language among writers, actors and audiences.

As it is intended to promote traditional Scots rather than urban vernacular, it should not be situated in any of Scotland's main cities.

Schools should organise trips to performances in order to encourage interest in the language among pupils and teachers.

Productions should also be considered for broadcast under the new dispensation currently being considered.
