Inverclyde

Ronnie is the Member of Parliament for Inverclyde having been first elected in 2015 and retained the seat at the 2017 General Election.  In 2019, Ronnie was again re-elected as MP for Inverclyde with a majority of 7,512 votes.

Ronnie had a 35-year career in computing before being elected, latterly he ran his own I.T. Consultancy which focussed on finding IT solutions to business problems.

Ronnie is Vice-chair of the All-party parliamentary groups (APPG) on Catalonia; Gambling Related Harm; Drug Policy Reform; Medical cannabis under prescription and Commercial Sexual Exploitation.  He is Co-Chair of the APPG on Industrial Hemp & CBD Products.

Ronnie is the SNP Spokesperson for Infrastructure & Manufacturing at Westminster.

Ronnie is a Trustee of Intractable Epilepsy and Man On! Inverclyde.

Political Interests: Drugs policy reform, employment, gambling related harm, renewables, social security and universal basic income.
