Constituency Assistant to Pete Wishart MP and Roseanna Cunningham MSP

Working in the busy constituency office in Perth for Pete Wishart MP and Roseanna Cunningham MSP, your duties will be to assist the Office Manager in managing constituency casework and correspondence and controlling the MSP’s diary.

You will be expected to conduct research, monitor the media and liaise with local organisations and other parliamentary offices. You will also be expected to use your own initiative as well as work as part of a team. The successful candidate will be an organised individual with good communication skills, an interest in current affairs and a good knowledge of Scottish politics.

Salary will be between £14 000 and £18 000 commensurate on experience. You will also benefit from a 10% employer’s pension contribution. In addition, if required, you can benefit from the Childcare Voucher Scheme of £43.86 per week for pre-school children and £10.94 per week for school age children subject to an overall limit of £54.80 per week. The value is pro-rated if you work part-time or you require childcare on a part-time basis.
