SNP fundraiser Jim Henderson explains:
"It's a really simple idea. Members who subscribe to the magazine pay £5 per month, that's an average of only £1.15 pence a week over the year. The payments are made by monthly, quarterly or annual direct debit. Those who wish to can also pay annually by cheque or credit card.
"The magazine will be an entertaining mix of features reflecting life in the Independence movement. We'll have guest writers, a focus on local activists, individual branches and photographic digest pages. There will be a 'big interview' and, hopefully a family feel to the whole publication."As long as we reach a minimum 1000 subscribers, the magazine can deliver real funds for the party while giving something back to those who join. We hope though that the initial take up alone will greatly exceed that figure, so if you wish to collect from issue 1 and become a founding member it is essential that you apply immediately."
It's important to note that NO MONEY WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM ANYONE UNTIL WE REACH OUR BREAK EVEN FIGURE.
If all goes to plan the magazine will launch around March or April.
Application forms will be dropping through letterboxes in January.
